Experience: 9 -12+ years

Tech Stack: Playwright, Python, API Automation, CI/CD

Role Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced QA Automation Architect to define, design, and govern the

automation testing strategy across multiple enterprise applications, including UI, API, and backend

data processing systems. The architect will be responsible for framework design, best practices,

scalability, and mentoring the automation team.

Key Responsibilities

• Define overall test automation strategy and roadmap for UI, API, and backend applications.

• Design and implement scalable Playwright + Python automation frameworks.

• Establish best practices for BDD, test data management, reporting, and error handling.

• Define automation standards for:

o React-based UIs

o Backend microservices

o ETL and data validation workflows

• Guide SSO (PingID) automation approach and security considerations.

• Drive CI/CD integration (Jenkins / GitLab CI) and test execution strategies.

• Define quality gates and automation KPIs.

• Review automation code and provide architectural guidance.

• Collaborate with Engineering, DevOps, and Product teams.

• Mentor and technically lead mid/senior automation engineers.

• Ensure test automation supports regulatory and enterprise-quality standards.

Required Skills

• Strong experience in test automation architecture.

• Hands-on expertise with Playwright (UI automation).

• Strong proficiency in Python for automation and utilities.

• Experience in API automation (REST, contract testing).

• Knowledge of BDD frameworks (Cucumber / Behave).

• Experience automating SSO-based applications.

• Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines.

• Experience with containerized and cloud-based applications (Docker, Kubernetes, AWS).

• Solid understanding of data validation and ETL testing.

Good to Have

• Experience with financial/trading systems.

• Exposure to Control-M–triggered jobs.

• Knowledge of MQ-based systems.

• Allure / HTML reporting tools.
