Test Engineer
Work location - Kochi, Kerala
Understand requirements and design, execute manual test cases, while identifying candidates for automation
Perform functional, regression, and integration testing
Actively participate in Agile ceremonies (daily stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives)
Validate backend data using SQL
Test APIs using tools like Postman or similar
Log, track defects, and JQL(filters) in JIRA/ADO or similar tool, and work closely with developers and stakeholders
Support releases, UAT, and production validations when needed
Solid understanding of testing fundamentals and processes
Good attitude, clear communication, and a collaborative mindset
Comfortable working overlapping US hours and occasional weekend support
Soft Skills:
Clear communicator (written and verbal)
Creative troubleshooting of technical problems
Ability to focus on deadlines and deliverables
Ability to think outside the box
Ability to work in a team
