Job Title: Manual QA Engineer – Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC)
Location: Kochi, Kerala or Remote (Work from home)
Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Manual QA Engineer with strong Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC) experience to ensure the quality, performance, and reliability of our eCommerce solutions. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in manual testing, excellent communication skills, and the ability to coordinate effectively with cross-functional teams including developers, product owners, business analysts, and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform end-to-end manual testing of SFCC-based eCommerce applications across web and mobile platforms
Analyze business requirements, functional specifications, and technical designs to create comprehensive test scenarios and test cases
Execute functional, regression, integration, UAT, and exploratory testing
Validate SFCC features including catalogs, pricing, promotions, checkout, payments, order management, and customer profiles
Identify, document, track, and retest defects using defect tracking tools (e.g., JIRA)
Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and other QA team members to resolve issues efficiently
Participate in sprint planning, backlog grooming, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives
Ensure test coverage aligns with business requirements and release timelines
Support UAT activities and provide clear test status reports to stakeholders
Required Skills & Qualifications:
3+ years of manual QA experience, with significant hands-on testing in Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC)
Strong understanding of eCommerce workflows and best practices
Experience testing APIs, integrations, and third-party services
Solid knowledge of SDLC, STLC, and Agile/Scrum methodologies
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills
Strong communication and coordination skills to work effectively with cross-functional and distributed teams
Experience with test management and defect tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail, Zephyr)
Nice to Have:
Basic knowledge of SQL or database validation
Exposure to automation testing tools or interest in transitioning to automation
Soft Skills:
Strong ownership and accountability mindset
Ability to clearly communicate testing outcomes and risks to non-technical stakeholders
Comfortable working in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments
